Duke was hit by a car and in very rough shape. His pelvis was fractured in three places. His pain was unbearable. He spent a week at a Madison Vet Hospital which accrued a four figure medical bill. Duke couldn’t walk for 4 weeks. Slowly, he got a bit better every day and 3 months after the accident, he was adopted. Donors make our lifesaving work possible.

Maserati and Ducati were tiny kittens found with their mama Vespa on the side of a road in Marshfield. They were sick and scared. After being raised in a loving foster home, they were able to come back to the shelter where they were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and placed up for adoption. Riley, Shorty and Jimmer plus six adult cats were taken into custody by the Marshfield Police Dept. Situations of seized animals happens frequently for various reasons and we are grateful to have a facility with proper housing, ventilation, and equipment to safely care for them.
