Donations can be dropped off at the shelter any time. The front door is always open. Items can be placed in our donation bin on the left.

Donate the following new or gently used items:

  • Handmade Tie or Sewn Fleece Blankets size 24”x24” or 18”x24”

  • Cardboard Trays/Flats size 12” x 17”-19”

  • Hand Towels and Wash Cloths

  • Cat Beds

  • Small Cat Carriers

  • Prescription Medications that are no longer needed for pets

  • Flea/Tick Prevention Medications

  • Unopened bags of PURINA dog or cat food

  • Canned dog and cat food

  • Unopened dog and cat treats

NOTE: if an item is not on any list, please bring it to MAPS and we will determine where it will go.

Items to Take to St Vincent’s:

Donate the following items to St. Vincent’s thrift store:
(we have more than we need right now)

  • Blankets (except handmade fleece, mentioned above)

  • Bath Towels

  • Sheets/Pillow Cases

  • Medium & Large Plastic Pet Carriers

  • Wire Collapsible Crates/Kennels

  • Dog Beds

  • Tennis Balls

  • Dog and Cat Toys

  • Leashes, collars, and harnesses

  • Dishes and bowls

Bring these items to the St. Vincent Outreach (next to thrift store):

  • Open or unopened bags of any brand dog or cat food
    (except PURINA - bring unopened bags of PURINA food to MAPS)

  • Opened dog or cat treats

    Please make sure all food has been properly stored, not expired, and safe for consumption!
    NOTE: they cannot take prescription diet food for their pantry.

Items we DO NOT accept:

  • Comforters or Pillows

  • Carpeted cat towers (we cannot sanitize them)

  • Expired pet food, treats, etc.

  • Homemade treats for animals

  • Large bird, rabbit or other similar supplies or cages

  • Cleaning supplies or chemicals other than those specified on our wish list
